MOF Kod Bidang

Kod Bidang is a Ministry of Finance (MoF) field code that identifies a company's business type for government procurement. MGTC provides recognition for green technology-related Kod Bidang registrations.

Kod Bidang is a code number set by MoF to represent each type of company business or tender works from government departments.

This code is used to facilitate easier identification by government departments of companies that are eligible to participate in tenders or submit quotations according to their types of business.

This field code also represents the type of business of a company that is registered with the Companies Commission of Malaysia (SSM).

For Code 222801 (Green Technology Service), the Ministry of Finance agreed that the Energy Commission may give recognition to applicants from the Energy Service Company (ESCO) category. For other categories, recognition may be given by the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC) as the focal point for green technology.

For Code 341001 (Energy Management Studies), the Ministry of Finance agreed that the Energy Commission has the authority to provide recognition to applicant companies based on established terms and main criteria.

For Code 341001 (Green Technology Study), the Ministry of Finance agreed that KeTTHA provides recognition to applicants by referring to stakeholders and green technology experts first.

Based on Ministry of Finance approval and a meeting decision on 24 April 2013, KeTTHA appointed MGTC administratively to provide recognition to applicants for registration of Code 341002 (Green Technology Study) in the government procurement system.
